“A genuine aviation nut, I can’t remember a time when I didn’t want to fly. A graduate of Seneca College’s Aviation Program in 1991, I have been a flying instructor, skydiver jump plane pilot, and flown air ambulances in Northern Ontario, night freighters, commuter turboprops and now Boeing 777’s for a major international airline.
I first became aware the CF-105 Avro Arrow in the 1980’s when the book “Avro Arrow” by the Arrowheads was first published. This started a fascination of both the machine and story behind it that continues to this day.
I am honoured to be one of the caretakers of the only full-scale Arrow replica and look forward to tell it’s story to Arrow fans both old and new!”
Entrepreneur David Grainger, along with wife Janice Stone started The Guild of Automotive Restorers in 1991. Also Known as Restoration Garage.

He had been a professional wildlife artist with published works in the Globe and Mail, National Post and Octane magazine. David has led an eclectic life and even at age 64 shows little to no signs of slowing down.
David distinctively remembers being present as a small boy, at the Avro Arrow Roll out on March 25th, 1957. His childhood connection is the reason he has joined the EAHF organization as vice president.
In 1977 Milan Kroupa Sr. established United Cleaning Services Limited in Toronto, Ontario. His vision was to create a service company that would always deliver on its promises and become a leader in quality and innovation in the facility maintenance industry. Forty-three years later United Cleaning Services is a leader in the industry, servicing clients across Canada with over 100 million square feet serviced daily in a wide variety of markets such as retail, commercial, multi-tenant, industrial/logistics, entertainment, financial and government.
While pursuing a personal lifetime of interest in aviation Milan happened to discover Edenvale during a weekend flight in his plane in the spring of 2003. The grandness and beauty of the location struck his interest and after learning about its military pedigree he passionately took it upon himself to purchase the facility and begin a restoration of the airfield and accompanying hangar buildings.
In 2017 Milan found out about the Avro Arrow Replica’s despair and he offered a home to save the Arrow and the artifacts.

“ This has been the most rewarding job for me, it doesn’t really feel like a job. I absolutely enjoy seeing the faces of our visitors as they walk into our 8,000 sq feet hangar and their jaws drop! How fantastic it is to bring families, co-workers, military personnel and their kids together to share stories of their past and their connection to the Avro Arrow Project.”
Avro Arrow tours will resume operations mid May of 2021, subject to change as we adhere to the Ontario Public Health Guidelines
